The business meeting of the Kentucky Association of County Treasurers and Finance Officers was called to order on March 17, 2006.
Treasurer's report was read by Mary Lynn with an ending balance of $34,817.22. Motion to accept the Treasurer's Report was made by Peggy Heflin, seconded by Paula Guinn, motion carried.
Secretary's report was read by Kathy Dryden. Mary Lynn made a motion to approve the report, seconded by Margret Skaggs. Motion carried.
Becky Carroll presented the Nominating Committee's report. The slate of officers for 2006-2007 as follows:
President : Carolyn Ritchie
First Vice President : Lisa Buerkley
Second Vice President : Mary Lynn
Secretary : Kathy Dryden
Treasurer : Paula Webb
Director : Becky Wilson
Director : Kathy Dillow
Past President : Margret Skaggs
Paula Guinn made a motion that nominations cease, seconded by Betty King, motion carried unanimously. Edmonson County Judge Executive, N.E. Reed swore in the new officers. Becky Carroll suggested that the procedure to recruit new board members be changed. New President, Carolyn Ritchie made a motion that all expenses be paid, Lisa Pearman seconded the motion, motion carried. The Board presented gifts to Margret and congratulated her on a good job! Carolyn officially introduced the new board.
Skaggs. Motion carried.
Mary Lynn made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Paula Guinn seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned.
