The November 17, 2004 meeting of the KACTFO Board was held at the KACO Conference, Executive Inn, Owensboro. Prior to the call to order, the organization held a moment of silence in memory of Ohio County Treasurer Sue Hitchell.
Speakers from the Labor Cabinet, GOLD and Auditor of Public Accounts Offices trained the group on important matters.
Call to Order by President Kim Muse was promptly at 11:40 a.m.
Carolyn Ritchie made a motion to accept the minutes from the August 19, 2004 meeting as read by Secretary Lisa Buerkley. Motion was seconded by Martha Richardson, motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Report with a balance of $19,406.30 read by Treasurer Mary Lynn was approved by motion from Margaret Skaggs, seconded by Mary Allen Hedges, motion carried.
President Kim Muse discussed the KACTFO Spring Conference to be held at the Drawbridge Inn, Covington, Kentucky – April 27-29, 2005 with a Golf Scramble on April 26, 2005. Watch for more information on the website. Also, online registration will be available for the conference.
Donations were taken in memory of Sue Hitchell, Ohio County Treasurer, to give to a family in need as requested by Sue.
Meeting was adjourned by motion from Kathy Dryden, seconded by Mary Lynn. Motion carried.
